MAUS is a tool to automatically segment and label speech into phonemic categories while anticipating statistical relevant variations in speech.
MAUS may be downloaded for free usage (except re-distribution). It consists of a package of scripts, binaries (linux only) and documentation. You will need Cambridge HTK to run MAUS.Please refer to the documentation in the package for a more detailed description of the system or read some of the newer papers about MAUS: Schiel 2004, Beringer & Schiel 2000, Schiel 1999.
SpeechRecorder is a platform independent audio recording software customized to the requirements of speech recordings.
AudioEditorUI is tool for recording, playback and editing of audio WAV files.
WebTranscribe is currently (02/2005) under development (Beta) and is used in several BAS internal projects (e.g. SmartWeb data collection). If you are interested in using WebTranscribe for your speech resource project, please contact Christoph Draxler at BAS.
